Adsense Made Easy PDF Print E-mail

Though not the most popular program on the 'net, this is one of those "Secret Systems" deals that, in a moment of weakness, I decided to try.

Note that there will be no links to this, as I DON'T recommend it, and in fact, recommend highly AGAINST it.  If you're looking to spend a little money, take a look at Ewen Chia's "Secret Affiliate Weapon” (reviewed here).  The theories are sound, they work in practice, and it's fairly right-brain friendly.

But onto “Adsense Made Easy.”

AME's sales copy is impressive.

They promise that with a 5000 “hits” to your affiliate web page, you can make money instantly (as in today) by using their program.  It costs $32.95 to get in, though they claim that $10 of that is a fee for setup and tech support.  But by splitting this, they can claim the program only costs $22.95.

Initially, AME had me sign up for Google Adwords, which will credit you with $50 worth of free clicks. Unfortunately, if you already have an Adwords account, you'll just have to pay for it yourself.  With this, you're supposed to hawk the program to others.

I got this far and began wondering exactly what I needed them for?  I'd done affiliate marketing before; this was nothing special.

But, you see, that was only the FIRST part of Adsense Made Easy (notice, that so far this has nothing to do with Adsense?).  The next thing was a “secret” php script that you could supposedly put on your own server that would make you oodles of cash.  The script is a “free traffic” page whereby the user enters the URL he wishes to promote, along with his e-mail address (which the script captures) and has to watch the page the previous user entered before getting the “your page has been added” message.

The next user, sees YOUR page.

Now, mixed into this are various Clickbank products that the script puts your affiliate link into.  Also in the page, there's a link to a search engine which has THEIR affiliate links attached!

So essentially, the “secret” system is this.

You market THEIR system at YOUR expense through Google Adwords or whatever (traditional affiliate marketing).

You set up this free traffic/search site which captures email addresses through which you sell stuff forever and make millions so you can kiss your job goodbye and travel, and meet hot women etc, etc.

Well, as I mentioned earlier, step one is simple affiliate marketing.  You could do the same thing for a slew of products, many of them more reliable than this one (here's my recommendation if you want to take a shot at affiliate marketing).

The second step was rife with problems.  For one, the script I was sent was out of order.  That is, the folder hierarchy was incorrect.  As such, the script can not work as it's given to you.  And if you know nothing of PHP, you're sunk.  But wait!  You can sign up for AME's web hosting and they'll do it for you!

Not so excited?  Neither was I.  Fortunately, I've forced myself to learn a little PHP over the past couple of years and thus was able to get the thing up and running myself after numerous emails to the company.  They ultimately promised to put it up on their site, but it never happened.

I won't even bother rating this one left/right brain because it's really a wasted $33 into the pockets of a bunch of anonymous Canadians who are merely selling you something you can figure out on your own.  There have also been several posts online of violations of the refund policy.  Some have complained that the company is not paying their affiliate commissions. I'm suspicious myself regarding the latter claim, but ultimately (and after some veiled threats) I did get my money back.

The Adsense Made Easy group operates under a cloak of secrecy, denying you their names and location (at this point I've narrowed them down to somewhere in Canada, probably BC).  Their domains are registered with an anonymizing service and they provide no “about us” information.

As this is something you should look for (as I should have) before investing in any online money making opportunity, this alone should be enough to determine their unworthiness of your time, money, and effort.

What Ways Can A Person Make Money Online?

There are literally tens of thousands of ways to make money online, and this is no exaggeration. As we speak there are hundreds of new markets emerging all the time. One can get lost in the sheer potential to make money online. However the easiest and quickest way to make money is this: promote and sell the products and services that other companies have already created and set up in exchange for a percentage of the selling price. This model is called "affiliate marketing". This is extremely easy because the tools to perform market research are so readily available. Tens of thousands of people are currently earning incomes equal to their day jobs by marketing online. There are also other established methods such as Google Adsense, selling information products and many others requiring more technical knowledge and experience.
